Job Summary:
The Controls Technician Apprentice will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, and must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service. We are willing to train the right person!!
This is a field-based position responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform scheduled preventive maintenance routines with senior technician.
- Assist in commissioning and startup to ensure proper operation of systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, hardware, and software.
- Diagnose communication problems
- Load, test, and tune system databases
- Install, replace, and recommission control systems devices, equipment, and software
