Job Summary:
This is a field-based position that is responsible for the installation of duct work and other associated HVAC systems, such as conventional ducted and mini-split systems, rooftop units, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Our Installers are also responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections associated with HVAC systems as part of an HVAC Installation Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize core skills such as using hand tools and power tools to perform HVAC installations and repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize relevant skills like reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical knowledge, and maintaining daily logs to ensure accurate and efficient work.
- Utilize HVAC knowledge for relevant projects and write ups for repair recommendations on jobsites.
- Assist with service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems, including preventative maintenance and service calls that require troubleshooting.
- Maintain open communication with the General Contractor and Project Manager regarding progression of projects.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed and adhere to safety protocols using PPE equipment as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company work vehicle.
